Canada finishes 4th at U18 Junior World Cup

Canada’s National Under-18 Team had to settle for 4th place at the 2003 U18 Junior World Cup in the Czech Republic, after an 8-2 loss to the host team today in Breclav.

Defencemen Cam Barker (Winnipeg, MB) and Wes O’Neill (Essex, ON) scored Canada’s goals. The Czech powerplay accounted for five goals on the day, capturing the bronze medal.
