For more information on sponsorship opportunities, contact Paul Zilkey (paul@smefinance.ca).

Promotional opportunities are available to local sponsors at a cost of $500 each, including acknowledgement of businesses on sponsor-recognition banners. For local sponsors interested in more than one promotional option, a special package deal and rate can be negotiated.

Sponsorship opportunities include:

o downtown Cobourg lamp-post banners
o intermission promotional item giveaways (i.e. t-shirts)*
o puck drop
o Player of the Game presentation
o in-game promotions
o pre-game promotional video
o chuck-a-puck sponsor
o shoot-to-win sponsor
o Gobo on-ice logo projection

Where will the sponsorship dollars go? All money raised will go into helping offset the costs of running the 2016 RBC Cup. Surplus funds will be allocated as follows: one-third to be allocated to the Ontario Junior Hockey League Foundation, which provides financial assistance and other opportunities to its players; one-third to minor hockey in West Northumberland County to provide financial assistance for under-privileged families interested in playing hockey; and one-third to the Cobourg Cougars to offset operational costs.

* Giveaway items will be at the cost of the sponsor
