Game Story

Brennan Othmann (Pickering, Ont./Don Mills, GTHL) struck for two goals and two assists and Kaleb Lawrence (Orleans, Ont./Ontario Hockey Academy, HEOMAAA) produced a hat trick to drive Blue to a 9-1 win over Red at Canada’s national under-17 development camp on Thursday night. Zachary L’Heureux (Mercier, Que./Châteauguay, LHMAAAQ) scored twice, and Nolan Bentham (Victoria, B.C./Yale Hockey Academy, CSSHL) and Sean Tschigerl (Edmonton, Alta./OHA Edmonton, CSSHL) each picked up single markers for Blue, which scored three shorthanded goals in an 84-second span late in the first period to take a commanding 5-0 lead after one.
