Team Canada 2007 World Junior Championship Ebay Auction Begins December 30Th

CALGARY, AB – Hockey Canada has again teamed up with eBay Canada to offer game worn Team Canada jerseys, helmets and gloves from the 2007 IIHF World Junior Championship in Leksand and Mora, Sweden.

Hockey fans across Canada and the world have the opportunity to bid on these unique game-worn items at http://www.ebay.ca and www.hockeycanada.ca beginning December 30th, for a 10-day auction ending on Monday, January 8th, 2007.

These eBay items are one of a kind and game worn by Team Canada’s players, and all items come with a letter of authenticity from Hockey Canada.

Hockey Canada also will be auctioning off other items, including a Sidney Crosby game worn jersey from the 2006 IIHF Men’s World Championship in Riga, Latvia.

Net proceeds raised through this 2007 World Junior auction go to Hockey Canada, to assist with the funding of national development programs, national teams and Hockey Canada initiatives that promote the sport at the grassroots level.
