Memories of Stoney Creek
“I think my greatest moment was being able to win the Triple Crown [PWHL regular season championship, PWHL championship, OWHA provincial championship] because not many teams have that.

“I have to give a lot of credit to the coaching staff at Stoney Creek. I learned a lot from them, especially [head coach] Diane Boles. She worked with me on whatever she thought I needed to improve. If she wouldn’t have done that I don’t think I would be where I am today. The coaches were great at allowing me to go to different camps, including Hockey Canada camps – and that helped.

“The coaching staff didn’t have a problem telling you straight up not only what you were doing well but also what you needed to do better. One of those things for me was my leadership. I was young. Not many people know what a leader is [at that age] and I think Diane really took me under her wing and showed me how to be a leader.”
