2018 WJAC: CZE 5 – CAN-W 4 SO (Preliminary)

Vojtech Strondala and Jan Kern scored 59 seconds apart in the third period to tie the game and Strondala netted the shootout winner, sending the Czech Republic past Canada West 5-4 for its first win at the 2018 World Junior A Challenge.
