    GTG: Global Girls’ Game in St. John’s

    Forty Bantam-aged players from across the country – representing all 10 provinces and the territories – gathered in St. John’s, N.L., for a weekend of Atlantic culture, empowerment activities and the Canadian leg of the 2020 IIHF Global Girls’ Game. Team Red (representing Team Blue) earned a 7-5 victory over Team White on The Rock, helping Blue to a 127-111 worldwide win. The game made 37 stops around the globe over 35 hours, beginning in Germany and ending in North Macedonia.
