Bowen Byram (Cranbrook, B.C./Vancouver, WHL) broke open a tie game with 13 minutes to go, 10 players record points and the WJC hopefuls opened game play at Canada’s National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp with a 4-3 win over the U SPORTS all-stars on Wednesday night. Kevin Bahl (Mississauga, Ont./Ottawa, OHL), Dawson Mercer (Bay Roberts, N.L./Drummondville, QMJHL) and Nolan Foote (Kelowna, B.C./Kelowna, WHL) also scored goals for Canada, which was outshot 27-21 by the university side.
