Kendall Cooper (Burlington, Ont./Stoney Creek, PWHL) provided the offence for Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team with a pair of goals and Megan Carter (Milton, Ont./Stoney Creek, PWHL) added two assists, but the Canadians dropped a 3-2 double-overtime decision to the Valley West Giants on Monday in their first of two pre-tournament games ahead of the 2019 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship.
